Participants will be introduced to how to manage disputes in opposing values including international travel, private education, religious education, tattoos and piercings. The presenter will demonstrate how these disputes impact the ultimate recommendations in the evaluator’s report.

The unique aspects of non-traditional families such as never married parents, and biological nonlegal parents will be addressed. Information regarding how to provide a Holiday/Vacation schedule will be provided.

The critical components of clinicians’ self-care and professional ethics will be explained. Information regarding how social media impacts the evaluator’s role will be provided with regard to boundary violations, information that could create bias, political differences, and informed consent.
