EMDR
Debra Wesselmann, MS, LIMHP
Debra Wesselmann MS, LIMHP has 35 years experience treating children and adults impacted by attachment trauma. She received her EMDR basic training from Francine Shapiro Ph.D. in 1995 and immediately integrated the approach into her clinical work.
In 2008, Ms. Wesselmann co-founded The Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska, where she continues her clinical work. She provides advanced and basic EMDR trainings and is on the faculty of the EMDR Institute of Francine Shapiro, Ph.D., where she helped develop a curriculum for their EMDR basic training with a child focus.
She has published research and authored or co-authored several books as well as numerous articles and chapters, including two chapters co-authored with EMDR founder Francine Shapiro (you can see links to her books and other publications below). She’s on the board of the Journal for EMDR Practice and Research and presents keynotes and workshops for organizations both nationally and internationally.
