Maureen Kane, MA, LMHC
Maureen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice in Bellingham WA, specializing in stress, anxiety, life changes, illness, caregiving, trauma, and career. She is a WA State approved supervisor and provides supervision and support to associates who want to have their own private practices. She is an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and an EMDRIA approved EMDR consultant.
Her therapy workbook A Guide Back to You: A workbook for exploring who you are and staying true to yourself is a 2023 Chanticleer International Book Awards Mind & Spirit Book Award First in Category winner.
Prior to being a therapist, Maureen was a director or manager of social service agencies and corporations working in the areas of literacy, health care access, aging, homeless youth, and disability.
Her two published poetry books are The Phoenix Requires Ashes: Poems for the Journey and Mycelium: Poetry of Connection.
